Sharing the heart and soul of a not-for-profit through an emotive new brand identity
Yorganop is Western Australia’s only Aboriginal foster care organisation. They’re a dedicated not-for-profit team with a strong focus on the Aboriginal community and their foster carer network. And they’re passionate about changing as many young Aboriginal lives as they can.
As foster caring and community support services changed, Yorganop needed to evolve their brand strategy and position, and in turn, their brand look and tone of voice. They needed to bring their visual identity and messaging together (and up-to-date) to form a clear and recognisable brand. The focus: to help Yorganop inspire people to become foster carers; and to broaden their carer and supporter database.
After refining the Yorganop logo, we created a new logotype and completely refreshed Yorganop’s visual identity system including: imagery; colour palette; typography; and illustration. The new identity brings the heart and soul of this trusted brand to life. Raising the organisation’s profile — making them more clearly visible in both the community and beyond — and widening their reach to new carers.
